Welcome,
Thank you for the consideration to learn more as I seek your vote for the position of Mayor of Alamogordo.
I believe in the power of possibility and it starts right outside our doors. My campaign is not built on lofty promises. It's built on my grassroots efforts, based upon my experience in District 5, to make an impact one block at a time. With a focused community effort, together, we can improve our roads, sidewalks, parks, water supply infrastructure, derelect buildings, business and housing opportunities within Alamogordo. We build a great Alamogordo by listening to your concerns, drafting a plan and turning plans into action. From the historic Chihuahuita neighborhood improvments, the Dudley School and Gardens, to the Sacramento Learning Park, to the 800 and 900 Block improvements on New York Avenue, we have shown the possibility of what can happen when we invest time, effort and dollars into a block. Those blocks transform from blight to possibilty by listening to families and cross-party voices.
I am running for the office of Mayor of Alamogordo, so that I may set the agenda working with my partnered commissioners to continue the work that I began in the inner city of District 5 and expand that effort, vision and the possibilities to every corner of Alamogordo.
I am running not to just imagine a better Alamogordo but to use my hands on experience and to build "a great Alamogordo - one block at a time."
